Warm, very compact, light, But lacks durability for a winter pad

This Pad is exceptionally light and compact for a pad with an R rating of 7.3. ipstop nylon on the bottom and the 30 denier ripstop nylon the top would be more than adequate. But, for true winter expeditions, which this pad is rated for, I’d expect more consideration to be put into the strength of its fabric. If it were up to me, at the very least I’d make the top fabric 70 denier as well. Read Less

Amazingly warm, not as uncomfortable as reviewers mention

This sleeping pad is seriously warm. Spent 3 nights on frozen/wet ground in freezing temperatures. My bag was rated at -4c and I was nice and toasty with zero cold spots. Best option I’ve found

Can feel your body heat being reflected back at you instantly. Lightest option for such a high R value. Length is okay for 6’ but your feet will likely hang over the end

Amazing!

This is the best of the best, the gold standard for sleeping outdoors. I am in my 50s and still love backcountry canoe trips but sleeping on the ground has become a bit harder as I age. This sleeping pad is think enough to sleep on your side and warm enough for below zero nights.

Excellent

I have not used this outdoors yet so can't confirm warmth rating, but the product is very well made. I inflated/deflated the pad easily, and it felt comfy to lay on, and relatively quiet when moving around. Very light weight.

This sleeping pad is kind of big and heavy. Not really appropriated for backpacking unless if used during winter.

Comfortable and durable

So glad I got the wide size and the mummy shape helps to reduce weight while not compromising comfort. I found this sleeping pad to be very comfortable and very supportive. Great pad for winter and shoulder seasons

So glad I bought this pad! It was recommended to me since it has a high R value to use in the snow and shoulder seasons. It’s comfortable!
