I bought this baselayer for my kids downhill skiing. It’s a waffle knit and thicker than the other baselayers that they have, which is good if that’s what you’re looking for.

Can't go wrong with The North Face. These will add a nice extra baselayer for my son to play outside, ski, or ride. Great material and construction. We said it fits a little large since the length fits him quite well, but they fit a bit baggy for a base layer, especially the top. Still no reason not to get outside and enjoy the cold!
