This and similar buckles are great to have on hand. They make repairing a broken buckle a simple and quick job. Within this product you might need to find a repair facility with an industrial sewing machine.

No Sew field repair

I bought three of those tin order to make quick field repair when needed. I tried them on my bags to make sure they would fit and they do. They are easy to install with a Philipp screwdriver.

I bought this specifically to repair a bunckle that had broken on a bike seatbag. The field repair part is considerably stronger than the original part that broke. I'm confident this will hold up on the long run.

Sea to Summit Field Repair Buckles are an easy and permanent solution for broken or worn out buckles. The patent pending design allows you to repair broken buckles in the field using only a screwdriver. As an added benefit, there is no need to take it to have replacement buckles sewn on when back from the field. There are two styles of side release buckle and a ladder lock, all offered in two widths: ¾'' (20mm) and 1'' (25mm). The one-pin ladderlock replaces ladderlock buckles found on backpack shoulder straps and compression straps.
