Love these boots

Second pair of Iron Rangers. These look and feel great. The break-in period wasn’t as rough as my first pair. Make sure to go a half-size down as they run a bit large.

Love These

My first pair of Red Wings and I could not be more pleased. I did size down (usually a 10 and a 9 fits me properly). Well made boots and I found them just fine, comfort-wise, right out of the box. Great with jeans and I’ve even dressed them up to pull off business casual.

Great boots, typical Red Wing quality

This is my second pair of Iron Rangers joining my 8085 Copper Rough & Tough boots. I got these as I wanted a black pair.

. The care for the leather should be easier as well since it's black and I don't have to worry about using a conditioner that will irreversibly darken the leather. I still prefer the look of the CRT leather, but that's subjective. Get these if you want a black pair of high quality Goodyear welt boots. Read Less

Iron Ranger Boots

Very nice boots. High quality materials. For reference, I am generally a 10.5 in sneakers/shoes. For Thursday Boots I wear a 10 so I ordered the same size in these boots. They fit quite a bit larger because of the very wide toe box so I would recommend sizing down a full size.

Redwing Iron Ranger

I'm a size 9EE on the Brannock device but as most redwing buyers, I size down, to a 8.5EE for a good fit and enough space for a thick sock once the boots are broken in. Excellent Boot

Great boot. Constructed extremely well. They run big, I wear a size 9.5 and the boot size I got is an 8. I would size down at least one full size.

Good boots, not for everyone

First try for me with long lasting good leather boots and I wasn’t ready. Too stiff for me. I can’t see myself breaking the stiffness for two months…i ain’t ready for classy.

Amazing boots

I have 3 Iron Rangers and though the Browns looks good, but no one can beat the class and style of black IR.
They looks awesome if paired with black jeans, black leather jacket.

The Red Wing Shoes Iron Ranger 8084 Black Harness is a classic Red Wing Shoes 6-inch Round work shoe and is made in Red Wing, Minnesota. The Red Wing Shoes Iron Ranger 8084 style is inspired by the Mesabi Iron Range in Northern Minnesota, a rugged area known for its iron mines. The proud men working in these lines where referred to as ‘Iron Rangers’, emphasising their adventurous mentality. The Red Wing Iron Ranger is easily recognised by its double leather toecap to provide an extra measure of safety. On top of that the Red Wing Iron Ranger has extra heel protection for better support. The Red Wing Black Harness leather is a natural leather without any pigment. Therefore Black Harness ages beautifully and all natural marks remain visible. The Red Wing 8084 Iron Ranger has a an unbreakable Vibram 430 Mini Lug outsole which is flexible and oil resistant. The 8084 Iron Ranger comes with black round taslan laces.
