Nice pack but needs better harness

Good quality and nice materials. Back pad could use a bit more structure . Lots of space to pack things without the annoyance of multiple pockets. Some bags are 32L, but can only fit smaller items in each compartment. You can really fit larger and multiple items in this bag. One major flaw is that for a 32L bag it needs better straps. and cheaper Refugio 30L has beefier straps and top load lifters. The black hole needs better straps and load lifters. A simple removable hip belt would help too, but better padded shoulder straps and load lifters would change this pack. And Patagonia should have kept the hydration hanger and opening, as it would cost them nothing. Not sure why they removed that in this newer edition. 3L hydration back is still workable in laptops section and stays upright for me. Read Less

Amazing travel bag

I bought this backpack as a personal item for flying, since my 26L Refugio is perfect for everyday use but a bit small for vacation. The extra space was a game-changer—I traveled with two young kids and was able to fit everything we needed for a long-haul flight!

its own as it is top heavy (think inverted triangle), and there is zero internal organization—no admin panel and very few pockets inside, which I’m used to on the Refugio. However, I found that the Peak Design Tech Pouch fits perfectly in the front pocket, adding much-needed structure and organization.

As for flying, I was able to squish it under an Air Canada economy seat, but only because it wasn’t filled to the brim. If packed full, it definitely wouldn’t fit.

Overall, I love the aesthetic and durability, and with a bit of added organization, it became a functional and reliable travel companion. Would recommend, especially if you don’t mind using packing cubes or pouches! Read Less

Excellent sac à dos de voyage

Ce sac est juste la bonne grandeur avec différents compartiments pour voyager ou faire des randonnées. Je vais l'utiliser souvent! Il est confortable sur le dos et les épaules et j'aime beaucoup les ouvertures pour bouteilles d'eau.

J'adore ce sac, simple mais efficace. Le système d'attache extérieur est génial, et les deux poches latérales élastiques sont assez grandes pour une bouteille de 40 oz.

Pratique et bien conçu

J’ai acheté ce sac comme bagage à main pour l’avion et je l’ai bien aimé. Il se met facilement sur une valise grâce à la bande au dos. Beaucoup de compartiments et bandes élastiques pour gourde sur les côté. Je recommande.

Perfect bag for traveling

Great Pack

I was worried the 32l was going to be too big for my needs, but it turns out to be a perfect fit for my workbag.

The new Black Hole material is cruchy and feels different than my other bags, but as long as it keeps plastic bottles out of landfills I'm good with it.
