Overpriced

I have a pair of the Parmi Men's Play Merino Lined Pants which I am very pleased with but have not had them long enough to judge durability. They are 48% merino then a mixture of nylon and polyamide. Yes, I kid you not. And yes, I feel a little foolish, but the fit is good and they look great on me. Vanity vanity vanity. The Merino Joggers are a completely different fit and made me look absurd. They were far too tight and a very strange cut that made me look like a Penguin. The material also feels more like polyester than merino and is likely predominantly polyester. So over $200 bucks for these Parmi Jogging Pants was just a bridge too far for me. They were returned along with the merino T shirt which was absurdly thin— thinner than Smartwool and Icebreaker and priced about $50 bucks higher. I don’t have high hopes for the longevity of Parmi if they keep up the price gouging. I understand the marketing game involved in trying to position yourself as a premium brand, but you have to deliver the goods as well. Read Less
