Solid update

My first helium was good enough to buy a second. This one is lighter (far superior fabric), more breathable laser-cut pit vents), and sleeker (no strap to make an awkward, unbearable pouch). OR function is always spot on.

I have a Patagonia Houdini jacket and feel the OR Helium is more comfortable and better structured

Not for me

Its very thin and looks like a black bag. Not confident it will protect against wind.

Perfectly waterproof

I recently started running, nothing serious but because it's winter I need something to stay dry in. This fit TTS and it light enough to pack in a backpack for hikes. The underarm zips are easy to use and turns out quite necessary. The hood fits without obscuring my vision too. Great purchase.

Technical windbreaker

Abrasion resistant, ample room for layering, underarm ventilation, reduces to small size for hiking/backpacking. Great piece when needed.

Fits snugger than expected

husband bought this and finds it fits snugger than he expected. He is going to keep it as it has the usual OR quality. Definitely fits snugger than the Helium rain jacket
