Really lightweight, perfectly designed for women. I did the Salkantay trek (Machu. Picchu, 5 day trek) with it and it was the perfect size if you don’t have to carry your food

I haven't had the opportunity to put this bag through it's paces but on a quick hike it has shown itself to be impeccable light. The bag is slim so it does take some maneuvering time pack if you are used to packs in a more standard width.

I was looking for an ultralight bag that would allow me to do backpacking hiking and still be comfortable and well adjusted. This answered all of my demands.
The only thing I would change on this bag is the lack of small pockets on the hip belt, but that's such a tiny thing that its not worth docking a star for!

The bag is super comfortable, the back mesh makes it feel extra lightweight. Sadly, no belt pockets, but if you have flexible shoulders, reaching into the side pockets works too! Fits enough for an overnight trip and the size is within the restraints for a carry on for flights!

ifference between two sizes, though. There is supposed to be only 3L volume difference between two sizes but in reality the small size seemed much smaller and not efficient for loading - perhaps due to it being not as deep?
Overall the small size fits better but I find that I couldn’t load it as efficiently because it is long and narrow and shallow. I purchased this for long day hikes (8-10 hrs), and it would likely be too frustrating to try and get to items that are on the bottom. I wish they made the small size as deep as the medium size, for ease of loading/unloading.
I currently have Osprey Sirrus 24, and was looking for something a bit bigger without adding weight, but Eja 38 did not satisfy that purpose for me. Based on my experience with both small & medium size, the medium size would work but it would be appropriate for someone taller than 5’4”. I found the small size to be inefficient for volume-to-usage purpose, and am sending them back.
