Very nice pack
Review by Robert on 16 Jan 2017 review stating Very nice pack
This pack appears to be very well designed. The attention to detail is excellent. There is a nice frame underneath and the materials seem to be of high quality. We look forward to using it in spring.

Excellent Pack for a day or multi-day hike!
Review by Ernest on 5 Oct 2016 review stating Excellent Pack for a day or multi-day hike!
Where do I begin? I’m trying to get a pack that will fit my 3-4 day multi-hike gear. I tried my buddy’s Atmos AG 50 which had about 10-12L of room left after I loaded it up – so I decided to look into the Manta AG series given that my fiancé has a Mira AG.The Manta AG 36L in regular fits my torso, which is about 18.75”. I am 5’8.5” and tip the sca...Read MoreRead more about Where do I begin? I’m trying to get a
les at about 160lbs with a 29” waist. The waist belt fits me perfectly. The Manta definitely does not offer the same level of padding or cushness as the Atmos, but if you’re boney, then it shouldn’t be much of an issue! The pack fits all my UL gear: tent, 30F quilt, change of clothes, food for 3-4 days, 2.5L of water, Thermarest NeoAir Maxx insulated pad, Windburner and fuel, and all the bells, whistles and toiletries with some room to spare.Unfortunately, my pack arrived with a defective chest buckle that Altitude-Sports is kindly working with me to resolve behind the scene. It is otherwise an excellent pack, and the customer service has been top-notch. Read LessRead less about Where do I begin? I’m trying to get a

Excellent Choice for A Long Day Hike
Review by Yi on 10 Sep 2016 review stating Excellent Choice for A Long Day Hike
Just took a 10km hiking today with this bag, and I have to say that it is really awesome!Since I have an Osprey ATMOS AG 65, and I do love the Anti-Gravity suspension system. The AG system has never failed me. It always keep my back dry. This Manta 36 has it too.As my day hike backpack, I do prefer panel loading to top loading. It gives me more or...Read MoreRead more about Just took a 10km hiking today with
ganization pockets inside the pack. The pack comes with a rain cover. This also adds some more value on this backpack. The only reason that I gave four stars, it is because the hydration reservoir shrinks. The old version came with a 3L Nalgene hydration reservoir, which has a hard backerplate on it. That provides structure for easy loading into a full pack and maintains a flat profile. The 2016 model comes with a 2.5L Hydrapak reservoir, which has no backerplate. PS: The size of this pack is 22h x 15w x 13d in. At most of the airline, this pack can be a carry-on luggage. Handy Pack for Storage Access
Review by Richard on 9 Aug 2016 review stating Handy Pack for Storage Access
I have a number of other Osprey packs, but I wanted this one for times when the easier access to storage that it provides compared to the top load models was important. It has met my goals on day trips and I'm looking forward to also using it this winter (without the bladder) to carry quickly accessible food, stove and warm up clothes in the winte...Read MoreRead more about I have a number of other Osprey packs,
