Best glasses for anything outdoors

I have been waiting for Oakley to put the Photochromic Lens on the Sutro model ever since I tried them on a pair of Jawbreakers. cking. With cycling if I do an extended evening ride I don’t have to take my sunglasses of when it starts to get darker and risk getting bugs in my eyes. And with backpacking I love that I dont need to take them on an off when going in and out of areas with/without tree coverage. If you are looking for a pair of glasses that you can leave on your face all day then these are the ones.

*** One thing to note is that if you plan to use these for driving they will not tint because no sun hits the lens with a roof over your head. They will only work with direct sunlight. *** Read Less

Oakley Sutro

relles dehors. L'aspect photochromique embarque quand il y a des rayons UV qui frappent la lentille, ce qui fonctionne bien et est super pratique pour des conditions de lumière changeantes (ex. fin de journée). Bref, j'aime lla polyvalence que cela donne.

Perfect Cycling Glasses

Bought these as a gift for a cyclist. Fits just like regular Sutros and they're light enough to use while running, cycling, and ski touring.

I ride a lot in the twilight of the day. When you start in the dark and ride into the light. You don't want to wear shades in the dark. These are perfect for that. I have clear lenses when I start and they get darker as the day begins.

Awesome glasses

Great sunglasses for cycling. Maybe the price is a bit steep for what you get, but if you can get them with a discount they are a must. Modern and popular look without being too flashy (not a lot of color tho, and they get black when exposed to sunlight, some people might dislike that). Overall a classic with the extra of being photochromic.

o ensure that you’re not blinded when moving from low to bright lighting. Size offers good protection. While the middle metal insert doesn’t give as sleak of a look as othere glasses might and you do notice this at first if you’re not used to it, I have gotten used to it and I no longer notice it while wearing them. Best Oakley Photochromatic Glasses so far

This is my third pair of Oakley Photochromatic glasses I have owned and what I like most is that they are the most robust with full frames that the other two I owned did not have! Love these sunglasses!
