igh back. Although that is hard to execute on a down filled parka, while maintaining waterproofing.
Two reasons I may not keep it is a slight down or material odour and I’m not sure that the wooll / poly fabric is the right choice for this parka style. I think that something like goretex or another high quality technical material would be more fitting.
Otherwise, this is amazing parka and if you can get it on sale, sure worth every penny. Read Less

icer shape, and having used it -30c it's incredibly warm but still pretty stylish.

The fit is really weird on this parka, but it does feel like it's deliberate. On the outside it's typically enormous and boxy, a size large has a pit to pit of nearly 27" and it's seriously heavy, but when you put it on it's really fitted, it feels almost like whoever filled you parka has put twice as much down in it than they were supposed to. As you put it on it initially feels like it's going to be too small, but then the super soft padding starts to mold itself around you and once settled it's very comfortable and not tight or constricting at all, but on the outside it still looks like a huge arctic weight parka. If you're wanting something with room for layering I'd look elsewhere, although with it being so warm you won't be needing to pack it out with layers in the first place.

If you've had a Nobis before the rest of it will feel quite familiar, as standard you get the upgraded wool blend shell which has a nice texture to it feels and like it should be quite durable, the zips are the usual TAT ones which are fine but nothing special, you've got the magnetic snaps that are super easy to use but do like to attach themselves to things, There's a huge variety of pockets, the pit zips are as useful as ever and I really like that you get a proper snow belt rather than draw-cords, the snow belt is also down filled and has really strong elastic so snow and cold winds definitely won't be getting in. I also like the fleece lined mask built into the hood, it completely covers your mouth and nose but if you'd rather use a neck gaiter or balaclava it can be folded away into it's own pocket. The fur ruff on my parka was pretty average so I ended up replacing it with an aftermarket one which really elevates the overall look, the only slight issue was the TAT zip but I managed to find a work around for this.

Overall I'm very impressed and even though the price is a bit steep I would happily recommend this product to anyone, or at least I would if it was still available. Read Less

The only downside to this was the Coyote fur, it was lack luster, not full bodied or vibrant color as all my other Nobis or CG garments. That is the issue of purchasing online as you do not get to see or choose the style and quality of the fur. As warm (and heavy) as a winter coat can possibly be, and I've tried quite a few coats from the various winter coat brands. Very thick, luxurious down fill - feels like wrapping a mattress around you. Will probably look excessive in public. Almost impossible to sit down zipped up. The hood is slightly small for those with large heads.
