I haven't used this to wash outerwear yet (it's still summer), but I did use it to hand wash a white cycling jersey. The product removed most of the collar stains left behind from a regular wash in a washing machine with normal detergent. I always use Tech Wash on my technical outerwear because of the regard that I have for Nikwax products. Tech Wash does a great job cleaning my waterproof breathables.
