I used this product extensively for a 3 night backcountry camping trip in early June, and the product works as advertised. There's still lots left over in the bottle for another buggy trip.

Muskol® Insect Repellent has a long heritage of providing effective protection.
Developed in 1951 by Colonel C. H. Coll, an avid Canadian outdoorsman, Muskol® Insect Repellent provides 8 hours of effective protection against mosquitoes.
It also repels black flies, biting midges, deer flies, stable flies, ticks and chiggers.
Directions:
• This aerosol product has a special valve that will spray upside down for easy use on legs and feet.
• Spray a thin uniform film on clothing and exposed skin, except face.
• Hold can 15-30 cm away.
• Apply sparingly, not under clothing and only when necessary.
• Spray hands and apply avoiding eyes and mouth. Reapply after 8 hours if necessary.
• Wash or wipe palms after applying.
• Do not spray in enclosed spaces.
• Do not use on children under 12 years of age.
