Price per oz is great.

I like to buy the 16oz but I don't use it for my stove. Instead, I use it to refill my smaller, more compact 4oz canister using a FlipFuel device.

Probably could’ve done with the smaller canister but liked the comfort of having enough fuel for a 7 day hike and not worrying if it would run out. Also the larger size and weight gave my MSR burner a good stable base and height.

Excellent performance fuel for 4 seasons

MSR Isopro 16 oz. 450G Canister will will last for several days for boiling water and cooking food. It lasts longer than smaller size canister and is less expensive per ounce than smaller canisters due to the volume. The MSR ISOPRO 16 oz. Canister is a must for preparing warm meals on icy expeditions. This canister features an 80/20 blend of isobutane and propane. It’s clean-burning and requires no maintenance. It maintains a higher internal pressure meaning it performs well at low temperatures and will deliver more consistent output over time. Once empty the canister can be recycled.
