Great two person tent

Lightweight but a full tent, the double vestibules are small but really useful. Decent for two people. Stitching came out of a seam on my first trip which was weird for an msr product, but altitude replaced it immediately and shipping the old tent back was straightforward. Still really impressed with altitude and msr.

MSR Hubba Hubba

A well designed tent. I like the extra head room compared to the MSR carbon reflex. The attention to detail with the water gutters on the vestibule doors are another example of what makes MSR tents so good. It fits our large thermarest mattress’s, and being so light it makes for a perfect backpacking/kayaking tent for 2.

Survived the West Coast Trail

I bought this lightweight tent specifically for the West Coast Trail which I did in September. It stood up well through two windy rain storms, keeping me dry without an overhead tarp. estibules. I bought it on sale so it was great value for this lightweight tent. I also noticed that alot of people were using this tent at the various campsites. The poles are connected with a shock cord so when released, they snap together in a snap! Once I got the hang of it, I was able to put the tent up very quickly. I highly recommend this tent for backpacking , especially if you can buy it on sale. Read Less

Hubba Hubba

I really like the tent. It is small, quick to set up, VERY light and compact. A bit pricey, especially, that the footprint is not included, with footprint it ends up being about 600$ after taxes. Hubba Hubba NX tent

When the tent arrived I thought that there had been any error. There was no way that a two person tent could fit in such a small box or weigh so little. I was wrong. The Hubba Hubba was inside! Setting it up took about three minutes. The tent and fly went together flawlessly. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Excellent

This is my third msr tent. I own the elbow room which is my ideal 2 person tent in size and design but at 7 pounds is too heavy. I have the freelite 1 at under 2 pounds. ent for 10 years I’m fine. I haven’t tried it with 2 People but I actually love having my backpack in my tent and more room between me and wild creatures. Easy to set up.
Only down side would be it could use more pockets. Mesh ones surely wouldn’t add too much more weight. Near perfect is good enough. Love that you can fit the footprint in the stuff sack and it’s very quick. I like fast and efficient packing more than I like small pack size. Read Less
