Sizing variation for the same model

Bought a pair of 501s, same size, just a couple months ago. This one is materially smaller. Returned.

Traditional fit and quality

These iconoclastic jeans with the red tag on the back pocket have been for me everyday essentials for casual outings for many years. They wash like a dream and last for years. I bought another pair of these because they were offered at a great sale price.

Seems a bit small

Ordered 511 at the same time and this one is very tight in comparison. This also has button fly.

Sizing is way off

I bought 2 pair of Levi jeans and the sizing on the 501 is way off. Id probably need 2 sizes larger then 505

Thick!

Generally ok. Thicker and less flexible than I remember jeans being (I usually wear chinos) but I guess that makes them tough. Not a fan of the button fly, but I’ll make do with it.
