A good choice for hiking

like:
- true to size
- light weight
- very comfortable and supportive sole
- nice color

dislike:
- a little bit narrow in the front for people have wide feet

Know what you buy

These are a nice comfortable hiking boot made for hiking trails and only going off-trail now and then. The only problem I have with them is they don't last under heavy use. Maybe I expected too much. ues started to appear: the rubber rand starting to separating from the leather, the "spidery" design on the sides breaking up, and signs of the molded EVA breaking down and separating from the sole. The overall integrity of the boots is now in doubt. For 3 seasons they were a great boot, but know what you buy and for what use. You will probably get more than 3 seasons if you stick to the trails, I didn't and these boots did not stand up to such abuse. They are not a heavy boot so the ankle support is that of a light boot, don't expect more. The sole is doing well and I could get at least one or maybe two more seasons out of them (at most) but for the other issues. They are light boot and you need to keep that in mind. I found the flex to be good, not too stiff and not to soft. I would buy them again if they came on sale, knowing I am buying a boot that will last 3 seasons. It would be 5 stars if they lasted longer. I hike in the Rocky Mtns and in the Purcells, with a lot of off-trail hiking. Read Less
