I bought this as a midlayer to wear under my Goretex Shell while skiing. I found it best for spring skiing conditions. I needed a little more warmth when it was below zero. Very attractive jacket.

Ce manteau est super léger et la coupe tombe bien. Je porte habituellement du Small et j'ai pris un Small : la taille est juste assez grande pour pouvoir mettre une couche dessous. Parfait pour le printemps et l'automne à des températures autour de 10 degrés, mais n'est pas assez chaud pour des températures inférieures.

Disappointed in this jacket. For the price it’s very thin and I don’t see this as being very warm. Purchased for travel mid layer but I think for the price - better off investing in a high quality packable down.

The women’s LIFALOFT HOODED INSULATOR is a warm jacket designed to reduce bulK when worn under a mid-winter ski shell and for standalone seasonal use. It features revolutionary Lifaloft synthetic fill, which is recycled 'lifa yarn technology.' LilaLoft was developed in cooperation with PrimaLoft, and is lighter, traps more air, and more hydrophobic than polyester-fill. Combine this innovative insulation with a lightweight, PFC-free, and weather-repellent outer fabric, and you have a highly mobile jacket with less of a carbon footprint. An inner placket behind the front zipper prevents cold air penetration. Lycra edging along the collar, hood, and sleeve cuffs improve this all-season insulators' fit.
