These are great for winter sports - roomy and keeps kids moving around while keeping them warm. Very comfortable and easy for kids to get on themselves. I would say to size up by one size = they can be slightly small depending on how tall your child is. If you have a heavier child, than you might want to size up by 2 sizes.
