Super light comfy chair!

This is the second Chair Zero that I've purchased. My husband likes to use mine so I had to get him one. Great for cycle touring and canoe trips. So light and versatile. Love it.

ld stretch my legs out very easily. With it being so low to the ground, it’s a double edged sword though because it can be hard to find a place to put your legs when sitting close to the fire. But, that wasn’t actually a problem and I very much preferred sitting on the Chair Zero versus being on the ground. It provides great back support and that was very appreciated after a long day on the trail. Overall, I’d still take the Sunset chair for car camping, but for any occasion where weight or size are important, this is my go to chair! Read Less

UL Choice

This is the lightest backpacking chair available yet and it is comfortable ! A bit on the pricey end but if you want a very packable chair on the trail, it is the way to go !

ard but more hassle than I would bother with on a day hike unless there is a planned lengthy relax time involved. I am not a fussy hiker and didn't really 'need' a chair... for overnight/extended trips where shorter hiking days are part of the itinerary this will probably come along. For those hike 25+km dawn to dusk- set up, eat, sleep repeat days... this will not accompany me. It's one of those catch 22 items. I would describe myself as a 'lazier' hiker. I would love to relax comfortably in a chair at the end of a 20+km day while cooking and eating dinner... but I'm too lazy (conservative) to pack it all that way- makes sense right? As well... it would also depend if all your buddies have them or are sitting on the ground and your just looking boojie 😂 good luck on justifying the purchase. Really assess what type of hiker you are and the use you will get out of it. I'm still undecided but the chair it's self has zero faults. Prior I was happy parking my butt on a rock/log-whatever nature provided using my pack as a back rest if able... or even just using my pack as a seat. (Hmg black southwest is bomb proof) I bought a thermarest sit pad and enjoyed the added comfort, dryness, bit of insulation from ground and the bonus of not ruining pants sitting unknowingly in pitch. I found it flattened out fairly quick and I'm a pretty light human. We will see! If it's possible to update reviews I will happily share if this chair spends its days collecting dust or comes along for the ride! Read Less

Top of its class for a reason
