GSI iso butane single burner backpacking stove

Small form factor and the only issue I had with it as many of these types of backpacking stoves is the length of the stem that connects the regulator to the burning head. You may want to compare the Crux Optimus which folds at the stem area which makes it tiny in comparison but having said that, the GSI is still relatively compact to fit into your...Read More

pot. The Crux for example is so tiny it fits in the bottom of your gas canister. The foldable pot arms are larger than on other stoves with larger serrated surface. One consideration is the small burn head that may scorch pots given the concentrated heat source. A little uncertain how the rivets holding the arms onto the stove will do over time. The stove is good enough but there are better form factors in other stoves as the technology is quite simple..regulator and burner. Comes down to build quality, size and weight. Read Less

Small. Lightweight and powerful

Nice stove. It’s very lightweight and folds into a small package. One thing that I really like is the size of the pot/pan supports. These are much longer than other stoves in this category. The stove will simmer nicely! I definitely recommend it for backpacking.
