Great stainless steel plate for multipurpose uses

Love this plate. Large enough to be a bowl for foods or soup. Great for picnic or camping.

A bit thin but defintely light and durable

Seems a bit thin in the middle but its not something that's a deal breaker. Still is durable and light and we love the embossed logo of the trees inside, very classy!

GSI Plate

Good plate for car camping and light enough to bring canoe camping. Can be used as a plate or a bowl. Not much else to know. Would buy again but they last forever

Beau fini lustré, mais paroi mince

Bonne taille. Paroi mince: facile de faire «bumper» le centre avec les doigts dans les 2 directions. Donc, l'assiette de repose pas complètement à plat sur une table si le centre courbe vers l'extérieur.

Standard metal plate that does the job

I like the fact that this is a "deep" plate, meaning that the edges are higher up than a normal plate, which helps shield from the wind somewhat when eating outside. When pushing down on the middle of the plate, it does bow/pop a little, but not to the point of being problematic in my opinion.

Does what you think

It's pretty much exactly what you'd expect. Metal plate with high edges so it can function as a sort of bowl as well. I use it for camping and it seems quite durable. Something I didn't consider, which should have been obvious, is that hot food will make the dish quite hot to the touch, what with it being metal and all.

I had high hopes for this plate based on GSIs reputation and other of their products that I have and love. Unfortunately this plate does not make the grade. is going back. You would be better off buying the Primus Campfire plate, which is also stainless, and has my wholehearted recommendation. The Primus Campfire Plate is a lovely shape, a perfect size, the stainless is solid and the centre does not pop annoyingly. Altitude does not carry the Primus plate, look elsewhere for it. Read Less
