Great Entry Level Set

After owning the large set in hard anodized aluminum for 3 years, I thought I would try the medium stainless version. It's nice not to have to always worry about scratching the coating. e price on sale and utilizing my expirable credits. I tested them out for a week on a tent stove. They worked good, but had sticking issues with soup and pasta. Perhaps if you were careful to use low heat on a propane or Isobutane stove, it would be alright. The best option is aluminum with stainless clad. The even heat is unmatched. Still, it's a good beginner set or even better, to mix and match to acquire your custom set. Cheers Read Less

Great Entry Level Set

hat non-stick compared to stainless. But with stainless I don't have to worry about scratching the coating. I'm not always reaching for the silicone spoon or plastic spatula. The pan with this set is surprisingly thicker than I expected. It disperses the heat better. The lock on the handle could be better designed, but it does work well when clamped. The lids work great for straining. The high heat silicone handles serve their purpose well as long as you don't go over open flame. I've seen others get ruined that way. The pots are light weight compared to older sets from different brands. They would say it's to save on weight, but really it's to save money. Still acceptable, but if a person wanted really good stainless cookware with excellent heat dispersion, the aluminum with stainless clad would be the best choice. With this set, I'll have to watch the heat and keep the olive oil handy unless I'm boiling water. Great price on sale though, especially utilizing my Alti credits. Cheers Read Less

Great small cook set

I have a single person kitchen and a set for 4 or more people. i was really looking for the right set for 2 or 3. this really fits the bill, size weight and strength looks to be just right. i haven't used them yet but looking forward to the first spring trip.
