A Swing and a Mis...

ear a sweater underneath. Everything else was just too large. From the shoulders that had a slight kink about 1/3rd of the distance to the neck line, to the parachute like arms, to the large arm holes; all characteristics of too much material being used or not enough proper tailoring. The length of the both the arms and body are about 2” too long for me.

I actually went to Gloverall’s site to check if they make short sizes. They don’t. Which is disappointing because this coat is made of superb quality and superior wool. I returned the Peacoat. Read Less

perfect coat

ittle softer than i expected, pleasantly that is. gloverall is a fine brand and altitude sports has amazing prices over the manufacturer. if you get the memebership, you save with free returns and the have sales occasionally throughout the year. i got this coat altogether 25% off an already amazing price. also i chose the 3.99 rush shipping and it was processed and delivered to southwestern ontario in like a day and a half. super super quick! Un Classic indémodable

Sharp looking Peacoat

Purchased peacoat for husband. The blue is very dark, almost black. The sleeves were about 2 inches too long but no problem getting it custom tailored. Nice weight and very flattering cut. Even the tailor was impressed with the weight and how well it’s made.

The style doesn't fit me

I usually wear an european L, in North America à M. There was only a L left, the shoulders, arms, and length were good but the chest was much too wide, espescially viewed from the back, it looked really obersized, floppy. As the shoulders and arms were ok, I think medium would have been too tight on the shoulders

Hit and miss!

The quality of the coat was very good, however the fit was not right. In particular the armholes were huge, probably useful if you wanted to wear a large sweater underneath.
