I got this backpack for my daughter because it is a superior backpack compared to the Kanken model that she has had for the past year. I love the padded straps - so comfortable. water/weather resistance coating on the material so that is nice. I like the leather trim on the top handle and the logo patch. I still think that the pockets on the sides of the bag are too small for a 20oz water bottle. I think that it should be mesh or some kind of stretchy material to accommodate varying sizes of bottle.
