A timeless piece

The quality is top notch from the material to the sewing finish. Only flaw is that this jacket doesn't have an inner pocket. Love it.

Solid Jacket For Fall

Like all Filson products, this is a really well constructed jacket. I'm a bit surprised by its dimensions, though. Good looking jacket

It has a nice boxy, but still good looking cut. A bit smaller cut than other filson styles, but still large enough to warrant a size down

l looked better at first glance. Did some online research and appears a common concern… ultimately went with medium and very glad I did. It is actually functional as a medium.. not sloppy as believed…and allows for layering which allows for much more use. I love the jacket and happy with the medium… the only purpose for the small would be a photo shoot… which is not in my future. Would buy again and trust the sizing. Read Less

Treat yourself

Pricy yes, but one of a kind. Great quality material, will age even better. Wear it and forget about it. 5'9" 155lbs Medium is fine worm over a flannel shirt cinched in using the waist buttons.

This is THE jacket to end all jackets

I want to start with why I gave it 4 stars. This jacket used to be made in the USA and now it’s made in Bangladesh, yet the price actually went up substantially! I would not pay this price for it, luckily I had a promo/Alti dollars to help soften the blow. cheaper). Now the good…this jacket is built like a suit jacket on the inside, and a work jacket on the outside. The lining is a comfortable satin that makes it easy to wear anything underneath and the outside is an incredibly rugged oiled canvas. When you first get it, it’s super stiff and looks boxy but as you wear it it breaks in beautifully and develops a unique patina after a while and forms to your body. It fits true to size I’m 5’11, 195lbs pretty muscular build and large is perfect. As for the look of the jacket, when I put this on…I’ve never had an article of clothing that makes me feel so confident like this one. Paired with a good pair of jeans and my Red Wing Blacksmiths…oh buddy, one look and you’d go “woah…this guy means business!”. Overall, this jacket’s quality is still top notch despite not being made in the USA, and it’s look is timeless and will definitely start conversations.
