Well thought out

overall really like this pump. I wish there was some way to manage/store all the attachments for the different nozzle types.

The buttons are well thought out. They made it so that an accidental press of the button will not turn on the device and waste battery. It's either a long press or a double press to activate.

much about the battery life, it seems to hold up quite well. I've always charged it before I head out to hike and it's easily filled up a 3 singles and a double sleeping mats without issue (and deflating them as well). Read Less

A great little pump that is ‘almost’ perfect.

The Good:
-Decent price and fast shipping
-Fits the Exped Synmat perfectly
-Lantern and power bank functions are a convenient addition
-Quiet mode on the fan will be nice when arriving at camp after dark

ove the deflate valve in my Synmat, but it did the trick!

The Bad:
-The 2 clear universal adapters in the kit don’t seem to fit anywhere and the instructions are not helpful on this
-The lamp/ fan switches and USB ports are not clearly marked and all look identical. I found myself turning ON the light instead of turning OFF the fan, after accidentally double pressing the USB port! (I labeled these with a sharpie, to make things easier)
-The top handle could use a clip to hang from most tent loops. I removed the bail handle and replaced it with a large elastic & clip to fit my tent

All in all, a decent product, but not the typical, thoughtful design I have come to expect from Exped. If you don’t need to fit an Exped valve, there are smaller universal units out there. Read Less

Game changer

This electric pump is a game changer. It’s so small/compact and holds a long enough charge that I’ve been camping a few times with it and still haven’t had to recharge it. It’s also very efficient. Would recommend.

Life saver

Pump works super well on LXW megamat. Inflated it decently quickly. Light is pretty convenient too

Works like a Charm

Happy with this purchase, used it a couple of times now.
It inflates my Sea to Summit and Marmot mattresses quickly and to the desired pressure.
Light works good as well but its not a particularly atricle light to look at.
I haven't tried the charging function as yet.

The Widget is an electric pump, camping lamp and powerbank in one. It allows effortless, fast, and moisture free inflation of sleeping mats and inflatables. It is compact enough to fit in a backpack and powerful enough to quickly inflate multiple large volume sleeping mats. The Widget includes Exped's Universal Valve Adapter so it can be used to inflate virtually any mat on the market.
