I was expecting a lot more comfort for the price tag. Awesome looks but disappointed with the quality of the Vibram sole. I have sent back the Vertigo 917 Hiking GTX Boots and ordered the Mountain 600. I hope that the Danner Mountain 600 in black with blue lace meets my expectation.

Received with high expectation of this boots. The quality, workmanship, style and more are top notch. It is a bit pricey even on sale but you get what you paid for it. I ordered one with 2 sizes left. I ordered the 7 and 1/2 ,but struggle for few days, I need to return it as too small for me.

The tongue has a kink on it which I can’t get rid of so it pinches the top of my foot. Very disappointing from Danner.

Great looking, light weight, comfortable. Beautiful dark brown leather. Roomy enough for thick socks. The lightness is partly achieved with a thin outer sole and a thick layer of foam. I intend to wear these in the winter and I wonder how durable the sole will be.
