Perfect baselayer

Love these knickers - wear these as a base layer for skiing and they are exactly the right length to cover my leg just above the ski boot. Likely not warm enough on their own on extremely cold days - a midlayer still is necessary

Lightweight

These are lightweight and work great for use under a hardshell when backcountry skiing in temps 0 to -10c.

Good value, comfortable

Good design, I appreciate the wider waistband. Runs a bit small, I’d typically go for a medium in base layer, but went up to a large with these after trying on. Layers well, haven’t tried them on a warmer day yet.

Good quality but

Quality of the material and length fits perfectly when skiiing. However, the fact that there is not belt or anything that makes it easier to fasten the pants!

No surprises

Like the full length version but these just work. They fit well and work very efficiently under rain pants or winter running pants. I prefer these when the temperature is not quite as cold and I need a little more freedom of movement.
Like in the long pant I especially like the waist band and lack of bulk.

Good quality material. Well made. Runs true to size. Note there is no drawstring in case you need it. Also note that you can’t wear these over your shorts as the fabric needs skin contact to stay up.
