This is always my go to mid layer over a good baselayer. My daughter is always comfortable & warm with this skiing and playing outside throughout the winter. It has surpassed many sub -10 degree winter days. It is not too thick to restrict movement and is true to size. Purchased an XS for my 5 year old.
