A little bit of practice and attention when packing and strapping it on to the bike eliminates most of these minor problems and the bag has been otherwise good so far. lso makes it more awkward when any adjustments are needed such as finding the initial fit (i.e. guess length off bike, then check fit on bike). Plus, once you've found the right strap length, it makes it more awkward when subsequently attaching the roll under the saddle each time with no slack. Once that fit is found though - and your tool collection set – then it is ok. However if you're often changing out certain tools in the collection for different trips, then this aspect of the product would be an extra hassle.

The roll's size makes it best suited for a minimal tool collection of course. But it does seem unnecessarily small for its purpose. If you have this roll you may have to decide what extra items you have carry in another bag and/or mount directly on bike, if you can't leave it behind.

If you are running a tubeless setup - and have a small repair kit - or only need a tube for a skinny road tire, you may be able to fit all of what you need in this; especially if you are going to rely on a C02 cartridge instead of a pump.

In my case, most of what I need fits in here. Useful bulkier items that I couldn't fit - a spare MTB tube and mini bike tire pump - I store elsewhere. Standard small size chain oil bottles only go so small, so that’s taking up some of the room.

There is a way to squeeze an entry level size MTB (~2"+) tube inside this roll (i.e. the tube half fits in the center pouch, with the other half draped over the outside). But aside from not being a good fit, it took up a lot of precious room needed for other things.
A mini pump can somewhat fit in the wrapped up roll - like an oversized hot dog in a small bun. But even my shortest mini tire pump has its ends sticking out.
