This is my second pair of BD crag gloves, my first pair were fingerless and I do prefer those. Have since gotten into multipitching and the full finger gloves help keep hands warm in the Alpine shoulder seasons. Too sweaty for the dead of summer though! You sort of need both pairs. d sensory feedback from the rope/belay device. And if you climb a LOT, they can wear relatively quickly and you'd be better served with something thicker. If you're a weekend warrior/twice a week clubber in the summer, they'll let for years.
