Le grand capuchon prévu pour les casques permet aussi de cacher un chignon et protéger le visage en même temps. Plus besoin de me détacher les cheveux lorsqu'il pleut! Les poches plus hautes que plusieurs manteaux sont pratiques pour reposer ses mains.

Tex Pro which was great for cold wet weather, but just way to heavy to bring to a warm destination. So I started to eye Becky’s Beta SL. The one flaw she had with it after a summer trip up to the Yukon was no pit zips. So. The Beta SL hybrid has pit zips with minimal weight gain and the same Paclite weight GoreTex.
I was between the M and the L. If I had intended to use as more of an outer layer, I would have needed the large to accommodate my hips (40”). As it is going to be my warm weather piece, the M is great as I am not planning more than a light weight top and possibly a light sweater underneath. If I wanted baselayer plus mid layer/ puffy layer, then I would have needed the L. The L had very long sleeves.
It would be nice if the front zip was 2 way, but I am not aware of any Arc’teryx products that are designed that way.
The Velcro cuff closure edge can be quite stiff and I imagine could abraid you if it pulled along your skin perpendicularly.
Bought it in colour Rad and it is a nice saturated colour - would be good in pictures from your next adventure!
