I have a pair of Olympus 4 size 9 that are a perfect fit and love them. Have tried the Olympus 5 gortex in both 9 and 9.5 and they are way way too small and quite stiff. This model is substantially heavier than the non-gtx version. This is really more a hiking shoe than a trail runner. The upper is made of some kind of thick synthetic leather. Good for winter hiking.
The cushioning is great.
The heel pocket is not very deep. I wish it was more because I get a bit of heel slip.

oe a lot so I can't comment on the durability, which scares me a bit since I've read a lot of reviews of the outsole separating from the midsole. But I have not experienced that myself as of now.
Although a good shoe, I think it is too expensive compared too similar products. A justified purchased on sale or if a 0 drop is really important too you.
