Great light running shoe

I have several pairs of the Escalantes. They are one of the only Altra models left that have maintained the truly wider toe box. I use this shoe for marathons down to 5 kms.

Great fit for wider feet

Normally I have to buy men’s shoes to accommodate my toes, these fit perfectly. I also like how there is less foam than other brands but it is still cushioning. I like there is no hard plastic on the heel so I can slide my foot in and out without rubbing

Go to shoes

I spend a lot of time standing at work and my feet get tired. These are my go to shoes and I wear them at work everyday. They are very comfortable. I especially like the wide toe box.

Escalante 3: Amazing Shoe!

I have long been coveting this model of Altras because they have the lowest stack height and feel great on my feet. I love the bright, fun colour and that did not disappoint! I love this shoe: nice amount of stack height with the right amount of cushion, the wide toe box and shape of the last hug my feet perfectly and Altra has improved the tongue...Read More
