The boots look great but the comfort is dependent on what you are looking for. The cushionning is more on the low side so do not expect to feel like in your sleepers. They were really light and would be great for hiking on dry, hot summer days. I found them to be more narrow in the toes than my Aku Slope. The length was perfect but they got really narrow and squished my toes together. I ended up returning them.

These boots are lightweight, very durable and flexible with great ventilation. They don’t have a hot bulky liner or membrane. I have not found a better hot weather boot and I own a lot of boots… If using in wet climates, use with sealskinz.

Had to get another pair of AKU for the summer trails. Breathable and provides protection/ support to inclined paths during hikes. I wear 9.5 Men for Saloman and Merrell and AKU is true to this size.

These boots are definitely military-inspired - rugged, fairly light, quick drying and relatively breathable. They are moderately stiff, as would be expected, exceptionally well-built, and have the appearance of a light hiker mixed with a climbing shoe. Fit was pretty true to the label.
