am very happy to get this original 6 inch 1000 mile boots. I bought US6 too and fount out it fits me quite well. The shoes look elegant and not as huge as some other boots appear. Didn't look hard enough and didn't realize these have a leather sole. Not interested in this for places with salt and slush (ie: most of Canada). Very comfortable though and appeared well-made but I returned them.
