Same great windproof material on the front, and ankle zips make on and off easier while protecting ankles from the cold. This year's model has no drawstring but a much better fitting higher waistband. Happy to nab these on sale.

I had an old pair of these with a drawstring and I love the upgrade to the flat waist band. Just enough stretch, and fit true to size. They repel water and keep the cold wind off my legs. I ordered two sizes since many reviews said it fit smaller..I'm usually a large for their bottoms, the large did fit me just fine but was a bit tight on the calves. I opted for the XL so I could fit a layer underneath for more warmth.

These are great winter tights — warm and stylish. I wear them running and cross-country-skiing. I’m 163 cm, 49 kg, 26” waist, and my usual Smartwool pant size S fits perfectly. One small improvement would be to add a waist-tie, but other than that, they are perfect.
