This is the 4th pair of Peregrine Ice(s) that I’ve owned. I’ve run through the lifespan of the previous 3 with virtually no problems. The grip is second to none for winter conditions. Aesthetically, yeah, they leave something to be desired. But they’re incredibly practical. They have a front latch for gaiters, if you’re so inclined. I preferred the padded tongue on the last model, but these will do just fine. I’m surprised that Vibram no longer supplies the outsole. That being said, they seem pretty much identical. Different tread pattern. All in all; they’re the gold standard for winter running. I run through the winter, regardless of temperature, in Calgary. Read Less

I really like the Peregrine series of shoes (I already have the regular, GTX and ST versions) so I was happy to get the Ice+ version. A friend told me they work great on all kinds of Vancouver Island winter conditions. We haven’t had any snow or ice this year, but I’m looking forward to trying them out if things turn colder!

Permet de garder les pieds au sec en courant dans la neige ou la gadoue, mais pas testé dans les flaques d’eau. Adhérence accrue par rapport à des souliers d’été, mais ce n’est pas des crampons en métal non plus. Je recommande.

Le fit peregrine classique avec plus d’adhérence sur la glace, une bonne résistance à l’eau et un ne semelle un peu plus ferme. Rien n’est aussi mordant que des crampons mais c’est une belle option pour les surfaces mixtes et c’est plus léger.
