The best-selling women’s X ULTRA 3 GTX® Hiking Shoes have evolved into one of Salomon’s most effective and weather-resistant shoes, built to tackle technical and muddy trails. They have two different types of strategically placed sole rubber for more intense grip, and a special pattern on the heel to handle aggressive terrain. Specially designed lines on the outsole increase the shoe’s flexibility, helping decrease fatigue. They also have a waterproof and water-resistant women’s specific upper, backed by an entirely waterproof GORE-TEX Performance membrane that’s completely weatherproof. They also feature Salomon's lightweight advanced chassis, placed between the outsole and midsole, which maximizes motion control and energy management for a more stable and responsive ride, preventing slippage during technical descents.
