I have these in the 3" length and bought these as a more casual alternative. The extra length in the thigh makes them a bit less comfortable. They don't quite seem like they are binding or riding up but they feel a bit more snug or something.

Perfect running short! They are loose fitting without being baggy. They do not ride up on me and cover my buttock. Love the back pocket for my gel or my key. Love that the waist is not tight an d digging in my wait but also not needing to be cinch. I got two more pair I love them so much!
