Altitude Sports and Quartz Co. have once again joined forces to create the men's Belfort Milkweed Parka. The Belfort utilizes the thermal capacity of plant-based insulation derived from milkweed, which is locally grown in Quebec. Monark™ cultivates the milkweed into a lightweight fibre which has excellent insulating properties ideal for harsh winter climates. At the same time, the production of milkweed plants also provides reproductive habitats for the endangered Monarch Butterfly. This newly updated version of the Belfort comes in a longer length for improved coverage and features a heavier 200g fill weight of milkweed insulation. This cutting-edge build challenges the status quo of winter parka design, while the Belfort's minimalist aesthetic and fitted silhouette are inspired by the style values shared by Quartz Co. and Altitude Sports. This limited edition parka is made in Canada and is exclusive to Altitude Sports.

Cambridge Outer | Storm Flap | Fishtail

The Belfort milkweed parka has a Cambridge polyester outer, which is wind and water-resistant and has a clean matte-sheen appearance necessary for your outings in the city. There is a unique button-up storm flap that fastens with large circular buttons. Quartz Co. gave the Belfort fitting drawstrings along the waist interior and at the hem, along with a slight fishtail at the back for enhanced mobility. This seasons’ Belfort has longer sleeve cuffs for a better fit and improved warmth. The hood remains fully insulated and fixed to the parka, protecting your head from severe winter winds.
