Super light bag

This waterproof bag is really light !
I recently put this on my big and it’s a great fit, l love how the bag has an air release plug so you can push out any air in the bag. I’m looking forward to doing a bike camping trip with this bag.

Great brand, great quality

These bags look great and the materials are great quality you just have to make sure they will fit your bike handlebar.

Great bag…except for one thing

The quality and fit of the bag is great. By fit, I mean that it fits and stays snug against the bike. The only issue I have with it is that you have to pack and close the bag before putting it on your handlebars. Sac de qualité! Excellente famille de produits.

Malheureusement, j’ai dû le retourner, car il n’est pas compatible avec mon guidon de vélo de route auquel j’avais ajouté des leviers de freins additionnels en position haute. (Mon petit guidon a ses limites…)

Altitude-Sports et Ortlieb devraient afficher la largeur entre les deux sangles de fixation dans les infos. Ça permettrait de se faire une meilleure idée de la compatibilité. Read Less

A bit overkill

For a simple stuff tube, there feels like there’s an excessive amount of straps and attachment points. There’s not too much to you fit in here, especially if you have narrower drop bars, in which case you don’t need all of the attachment points/straps that you cannot remove. It’s a super robust bag, but just a bit overkill I found.

The waterproof Ortlieb Handlebar-Pack is an indispensable item when you’re on a bikepacking tour in the great outdoors. Depending on the particular model, the Handlebar-Pack offers a payload of either 9 or 15 liters for your sleeping bag and pad. It also helps to secure a balanced distribution of gear and weight across your bike. Thanks to the roll closures at both ends, you can always gain quick access to your gear. Compression belts on the outside enable the stowing and attachment of additional equipment. Moreover, the Handlebar-Pack comes with four hooks to enable the attachment of an Ortlieb Accessory-Pack for additional stowage space. Consisting of spacers and two strong Velcro straps, the mounting system ensures secure attachment to any handlebar type, including carbon handlebars. The pack’s stiffened interior and head-tube attachment offer additional stability-in any terrain. The smaller of the two models belongs to the compact class of bikepacker handlebar rolls. With a length of only 40cm, this waterproof handlebar bag is the right choice for bikepackers with off-road drop bars and both racing and hybrid-style handlebars. The compact Handlebar-Pack is also extremely lightweight. Thanks to its additional drawstrings, the 15-liter pack gives you the option taking additional equipment with you on your trip.
