Great waterpoof pack

You can always use a standard pack with a raincover, but if you've hiked enough, you know that water will always find its way in. s room for air citculation in the back so your back will stay relatively dry, or at least less sweaty than many other pacjs. It's expensive, but it is quality that will take some abuse and last a long time. This ia highly specialized pack, and as such it has some drawbacks: it is heavier than most hiking packs. At 1.45 kg it is not super heavy,but you can find many daypacks in the 1kg range. However, with this pack, no need for a raincover or dry bags inside the pack. But for ultralight hikers, this is a heavy pack. Closure system: when fully open, it is like a duffle bag with nice zipped small compartments. Pretty cool when traveling. This is my goto pack for short airplane of train trips. However, for hiking, access to the bag is more complicated than all of the other packs I have used. You have to pretty much open the zipper its full length if you need something at the bottom. You have good size soft pockets on each side and a good belt pocket to mitigate this issue. For a day hike in good weather, this is not the pack I will use. In bad weather this is my go to pack. I have not yet used it for paddleboarding, but depending on the trip, this pack can be a good option compared to using a drybag, espacially if you have to bushwack some distance (this pack in the front and the paddle board on your back).

Water proof!!!

Fits well and is water proof. Love how it opens like a duffel bag. Time will tell if it’s a comfortable fit.
