I purchased and returned this item, hoping it would have a fit similar to my Cloudrock shoes, which I enjoyed using for hiking. I was looking for low-top waterproof shoes, but unfortunately, these had a snug fit. I decided not to size up, as that would make the front too roomy.

I'm quite particular when it comes to hiking shoes. These On are narrower then my others but fit very well with thin socks. They are very well padded and provided ample support for a Grand Canyon hike. The sole patters did not attract as many rocks as the running shoes.
