This model is new from Marker and relatively lightweight. Would be good for smaller/female skiers for backcountry skiing. Has more plastic material than other brands (Dynafit, Atk, plum) etc. which do full metal. Not a big deal for smaller skiers but good to keep in mind for material.

Fixation qui convient pour une personne de poids moyen, c'est à dire jusqu'à Dyn 8. À moins d'être de niveau expert ou de poids élevé, je ne vois pas l'avantage d'acheter l'autre modèle jusqu'à Dyn 12.

The ultra-light Alpinist 8 pin binding is optimized for lighter and specifically female ski tourers. A unique and softer heel spring supports easy entry and lowers the DIN range to 3-8.
• It also offers active length compensation during ski flex and an impressive power transfer downhill due to a 38mm drill pattern
• The carbon-reinforced toe provides great stiffness and comes with anti-ice pads and integrated elastomers for easy stepping in
• The heel features a climbing aid with 0°, 5° and 9° angle and allows super convenient switching between hike and ride mode
