These boots are a favourite in our home. Both my son and daughter have these and we continue to purchase the same boots (next size up) when they outgrow them.

This is just easy to slip them on and off whenever I need to jump outside in winter, at home in the city or at the cottage. It’s warm enough and will last a couple decades as my 1st pair. It’s not a laced up walking boot though, just as loose as it needs to be to easily slip on and off, so a bit oversized.
