Fidèle à sa réputation

J'avais déjà un 3L de l'ancien modèle. Le réservoir est très fiable si je me fie à celui-là. Le 2L devrait donc faire amplement l'affaire et être fiable. Je n'ai jamais eu de mauvaises surprises avec cette marque.

Larger reservoir

Wanted a slightly larger reservoir than my insulated one for an ultra in July. This fit the bill in size and price and is easy enough to use.

Poche intéressante

Beaucoup de points positifs mais j’ai eu une gourde Source pendant plus de 15 ans que j’adorais,Malheureusement il n’y a plus de pièces disponibles. Donc s’habituer à une nouvelle poche demande un peu d’adaptation, Mais je vais l’apprécier sans aucun doute.

Force Hydration Reservoir

Purchased for my partner. It somehow opened while in use and soaked everything in his pack. Not sure if this was user error or the fault of the product. The black sleeve on the hose looks great at first but gets very dirty/dusty.

Hydrapak finally got it all right with this one. Durable while still being light. Fully insulated tube with new shut off valve right at the mouth piece. I also love the look of these new generation Force bladders. I made my own insulation sleeve so went for the extra durability of the Force with insulated hose and the all black look, over the dual insulated bladder and hose of the new Velocity IT Series by Hydrapak.

My favorite water bladder so far

p, easy to fully dry and didn't taste like plastic. This one ticks all the boxes.
On that last part, it did have a slight hint of plastic taste when I first bought it which mostly went away for a while and then one day, after being left in the car overnight filled with water, it started tasting heavily of plastic.. Hydrapak customer service was very helpful and they were very quick to replace it. I would recommend being careful and keeping this bladder away from full sunlight or heating elements over extended periods of time. The TPU is not rated for high temperatures like hot/boiling water.
The first one must have been a lemon because my new one does not taste like plastic at all.

I bought the previous model of this Force 2L last summer and I haven't been disappointed! It is very easy to fill up with water (it's easiest with 2 hands but even with my small hands I'm able to hold it open with just one hand). At first I was worried it would be too big for my small 9L Osprey hiking backpack but it actually fits perfectly. The tube is insulating and I haven't noticed water getting very warm in the summer or very cold in the winter. The bladder itself is very sturdy and can even be turned inside out for full drying (major bonus for me as that's a problem I was having with my old bladder) or putting in the dishwasher.

The new model is basically identical to the old one with a few upgrades.
This new model has a strap to make filling it even easier. The bite valve opens and closes with one hand and is easier then the previous model.

One thing to note is that it comes with a small sample of lubricant (you'll have to buy more) that is recommended to use (the quick guide specifies where to use it) on different parts of the bladder to keep it in good shape and avoid it becoming dried out or gummy over time. I haven't had to use it yet but it's something to keep in mind. There is some maintenance that comes with owning this bladder. Read Less
