Although they are not the lightest trekking poles compare to the other brands, but it is beautiful and smart design, I like it so much.

Very good women's hiking pole

I love these poles. They are very easy to use, only one flick lock to engage and the wonderful SmashLock technology is brilliant. e and straps are super comfortable and I will be using them 4 seasons for hiking/walking. They are slightly heavier than my previous pair of non shock tech SmashLock poles. The only thing making it four stars is that one cannot easily remove the bottom portion of the pole to clean. So, if dust gets in there in the summer, it may cause them to be less smooth on collapsing and extending. This is my second pair of smash lock (first pair bent - my fault not the pole's), so have experience with them and I did find that when the poles got dirty on the bottom section, which they do all the time on a trial, then the dust got inside and it was less smooth to extend and collapse. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I still highly recommend them because of the great function. Read Less

Great features at the expense of weight

This was bought for a friend that ultimately decided to returned them. Sturdy construction with high-quality materials but the advanced features such as the shock absorbers were not going to be fully utilized for her casual hiking needs. Opted for simpler Black Diamond trekking poles that had fewer features but also less weight.

Trekking Poles

Beautiful color and very lightweight. Love that the poles come with snow baskets. Excited to use them for both hiking and snowshoeing! Reviews online state they are very durable.

Parfait pour diverses utilisations

J’ai acheté ces bâtons pour faire de la randonnée et ils sont parfaits pour cela avec la suspension absorbante lors de la descente. De plus, ils sont tellement compactes et légers que j’en amène un en ski au cas où un de mes bâtons de ski brise. La poignée n’est pas trop large pour mes mains de femme. Ils sont géniaux et polyvalents.

Our lightweight trail series trekking pole designed for four-season on-trail versatility, the women’s specific Black Diamond Trail Shock Pro features the terrain-absorbing benefits of our Control Shock Technology, combined with the quick deployment and collapsibility of our new SmashLock quick-release technology. The SmashLock quick-release mechanism allows you to quick deploy the telescoping pole and lock it into place with an easy-to-hear click (keep the FlickLock Pro closed during deployment). Then, with the FlickLock Pro open, swiftly and firmly press the tip of the pole into the trail to release the SmashLock for a quick collapse. The pole’s Control Shock is located within the grip and provides progressive four-stage shock absorption with smooth rebound control on even the most rugged trails.
