Bought for climbing. 25kN rating closed and 8kN open, weight is 56g. Sloid build quality as expected from black diamond, I will be buying a couple more.

Standard screw gate locking biner for climbing. Not much to it. If you need some filler to get free shipping, you can always get another BD Positron. Same price as MEC but with the membership discount and stacked with other coupons, this is a much better deal.
